  1. Thanks for jumping in!!! I understand what you're saying regarding trooper size variation...just speaking to the reference from the game, the back doesn't seem to extend all the way down to the TD and the canister is much smaller. Looking at @14166 (though I can't seem to pull up his side shots anymore), the pack did extend lower than the reference and seemed to sit on the TD. If it was flush to the back and pulled up, that might not happen. That though, wasn't as noticeable as the canister which just seems large in relation to the pack itself. Width of the pack seemed good...nothing that just stands out...and the details on the pack look good too.
  2. Thanks @Fivezero @14166 Where does that put your pack? I guess the ugly questions will be, how feasible is it to get the canister downsized and the pack flush to the backplate?
  3. @Fivezero I would tend to agree with you. The saber is only used as a skin for Starkiller. Why that was approved in previous costumes isn't for me to say, BUT typically heroes in "villain" gear don't get approved i.e. FO Finn, TK Luke, TK Han. You are correct, the standard troopers in the game do not use the saber...only Starkiller as a reskin. The CRL team is spread a tad thin at the moment but let's call @NINJAM0VE and @Janem in here to give it a look and get some feedback going.
  4. This can be updated along w/ the Shadow Scout. @furiosa @Tarrif @Blackwatch an we give this a hard look to make sure its how we want it as well? Part of the update is to have a little more consistency w/ the TB (though not entirely exact). Feel free to reference the TB CRL as well. Very similar to the Shadow...make sure we have colors and typos good too. THANKS!
  5. This should be one of our first major updates for the year. @furiosa @Blackwatch @Tarrif Can we give this a hard look to make sure its how we want it? Part of the update is to have a little more consistency w/ the TB (though not entirely exact). Feel free to reference the TB CRL as well. Thanks team!
  6. Bringing this down here since we are about to go back in on it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. It looks considerably smaller and doesnt seem to pass above the bottom rim of the helmet The pack itself is flush to the back as well. Curious...how do u have that attached? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. These are the 2 shots that show the canister. This is what@izzi was referencing more than likely Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. yea the whole area needs a cleanup and reorg. thats something@tarrif and myself need to do w the web guys Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. Looking through the thread, the jumpsuit is drafted BUT we should probably do a review of the text as that hasn't been done, to make sure it's set how we want it unless I missed something. @Tarrif / @Blackwatch?
  11. @MahXPrime @Tarrif Any other input here?
  12. Waiting for terms to switch over so new CRL team can begin work (though several members are carryovers). Post Mar. 1 we can hit it. While we wait, can we get thoughts on what @izzi brought up...the size of the pack itself when compared to the reference pics (note the top cylinder's positioning in relation to the trooper)?
  13. Another Spec Ops costume Ulises!!! YES!!!
  14. Yes matte is matte. You can discuss with your GML I suppose and get their feedback. I don't want to say "yes" and then you have to wait indefinitely till the update is published. Sorry I don't have a better answer at this time.
  15. Current CRL does read semi-gloss or gloss. This has been much debated in other threads and in back-end CRL team discussions in the past. That said...it is tough to distinguish semi-gloss vs. satin in approval pictures...and though they are 2 different sheens some people use the terms interchangeably because they are very similar. You can check out this proposal here, however, which @furiosa and I drafted up earlier last term to align (though not completely) our Shadow Scout w/ the Pathfinder's TB CRL. https://forum.specops501st.com/index.php?/topic/6057-proposed-crl-update-shadow-scout-not-yet-active/ You should notice the color adjustment would include matte and satin officially. There are also some strapping measurement adjustments for Level 2 (particularly shoulders, upper arms, side chest/back). We just haven't had any community feedback (hint hint drop some lol), to push it forward to the LMOs yet. She and I plan on giving it a hard look though and presenting it once the new LMO team settles in. I can't give you a timeline though on when it would be approved and published or if it will even be approved for that matter...but a heads up that it's been worked on COULD change the standards for Level 2 in the near future. P.S. There's also a similar "in limbo" proposal for Swamp Scouts as well...and we plan on drafting up a General Weir update too to close out the scout updates.
  16. CONGRATS MAN! If you haven't done so already you can request your full Spec Ops access here: https://forum.specops501st.com/index.php?/forum/130-access-requests/
  17. And if he can't, I'm sure you can figure out a way. We can look back through the refs again and see if we missed something on the frame issue as well. And we could decide Level 1 vs. Level 2 as well...frame / no frame...if it comes to that discussion.
  18. Yes the frame we discussed...what about some bondo to level the edges off and "hide" the frame? An idea if having him readjust the design is asking too much.
  19. Welcome! Thank you for doing this! You are right...these threads are great for the builder and future builders alike. Appreciate you being here and putting in the work!
  20. @ThomasDurbin I read through this thread (and will re-read it again to make sure I'm up to speed). I will PM you my email so you can forward it to me and I will make sure the incoming CRL team takes a look at it at the very least. The standards for creating new CRLs haven't changed (referencing back to what Darth Emphatic made mention of in above posts), but looking at it can't hurt anything. PM incoming.
  21. No need to apologize [emoji16]. I was just clarifying Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  22. Totally understand. Wrapping this up is on the high list of priorities (pending elections).
