  1. I did notice that I need this to be for the chest plate and back plate, not the abdomen armor/posterior armor. I'm going to take that out of the above text and make reference to another section. Just based on the photos alone it does appear that it is black, so I'd say that is something worth noting for L1 (either/or) and required for L2:
  2. That can work. It appears that this version is Gar Saxon, so I can update the threads that I started for that.
  3. I'll speak with the team on this but from the looks of it I do believe this costume could have two versions within one CRL. The Gar Saxon version (red) and the Grunt version (white). I have set up a pinned reference photo thread and a pinned CRL discussion thread.
  4. This will be the main listing and we'll tackle each part piece by piece (green is done, yellow is WIP, and red is not finalized): Helmet Flight Suit Chest Armor Back Armor Jet Pack Abdomen Armor Gauntlets Hand Armor Ammo Belt Codpiece Thigh Armor Knee Armor Boots [Unnamed] Rifle [Unnamed] Pistol --------------------------------------------------------------- Description: Imperial Super Commando - Gar Saxon Prefix: TX Detachment: Spec Ops Detachment Context: Star Wars Force Arena Mandalorian warriors loyal to the Empire, Imperial Super Commandos were deadly and efficient enforcers. Led by Gar Saxon, the Imperial Super Commandos’ armor was a distinctive and streamlined white, and their masterful combat abilities were eclipsed only by their ruthlessness. Under orders of the Empire, they destroyed the Protectors of Concord Dawn with no mercy, and sought to do the same to their missing leader Fenn Rau and any rebel opposition. [this is from the LFL Star Wars Databank, we'll have to change this]
  5. @MrShadow I spoke with @RAIDER and will assist and take point on the CRL text working with the references. When you get a chance to get the build moving make sure to create a separate WIP thread so that this reference thread remains separate from that. I will create a separate pictures only thread for the references on this one as well as a CRL draft thread, when I get a chance. Great job so far on the model!!
  6. Here is the text for the abdomen armor: Abdomen Armor Realistic style Clone Abdomen armor. Six 1/4ā€ (6.35mm) in diameter holes per side on indents of ab plate. Twelve holes total. Abdomen section wraps around the wearers body and is sealed at the sides or back or is not sealed at the sides and is connected with black fabric or nylon that blends into the under suit. Abdomen armor is completely contained under the chest and back armor. OPTIONAL Level two certification (if applicable): Armor is not seamless at the sides and is connected with black fabric or nylon that blends into the under suit. I know that in the reference/in-game images on the sides it does not connect with the back armor.
  7. Thanks! Yeah you did overlook it under the 4th main bullet and 1st sub bullet. Due to the fact that we are not seeing any details on it we can't really infer in this scenario that it is something different. The inlet vents would be those on the little wings that jut out.
  8. I'm going to aim to make this the final text for the jump pack (for now): Jump Pack Styled after the jump pack seen in the Battlefront 2004 video game and close to the CRL images with details below. The pack will be painted in the same color as the base color of the armor unless noted otherwise in the details. There are two trapezoidagon wings protruding from either side at the top of the jump pack. These wings are mirrored images of each other with 5 sides. The sides contain the following details: The side facing upwards has a recessed vent section detail painted dark gray on the fins and black to simulate looking into the pack. The vents open towards the center of the pack. The side facing the back/helmet has no details and is dark gray. The side facing outwards from the back has a recessed vent section detail painted dark gray on the fins and black to simulate looking into the pack. The vents open towards the center of the pack. The side facing the exhaust jets is slanted at a 45 degree angle and has a recessed vent section detail painted dark gray on the fins and black to simulate looking into the pack. The vent opens towards the center of the pack. The side facing outwards past the shoulders has a circular detail in the center of a circular recessed area. The circular detail in the center has a raised edge and recessed vent section. The vent section detail is painted dark gray on the fins and black to simulate looking into the pack. There is a trapezoid-like recessed area on each side of the black section towards the top of the pack and next to the trapezoidagon wings. The black center section of the jump pack is flat at the top, slants at an angle towards the middle of the jump pack before flattening out. After the flattened section it slants towards the posterior armor to the bottom of the jump pack. The following details are present: The flat part of the top has no details from the back of the armor to about the last third of the jet pack. After that there is a black section before it reaches the angled slant. The angled slant from the top has a rectangle in the center with recessed black areas on all sides of the rectangle. As it levels out there is another horizontal rectangular greeblie detail until the next slanted area. This horizontal rectangular greeblie is a gray with brown/tan mixed in to give it a metal appearance. The angled slant towards the bottom has a rectangle in the center with recessed black areas on all sides of the rectangle. Just before the rockets on each there is a recessed rectangular section that is gray on each side of the black center section. On each side of the jump pack just above the rockets there is a gray conical detail. This detail is painted dark gray. Each rocket tip will have the following details: A set of dark silver rings at the top. A light gray section in the middle. A dark gray circular section that gets narrower the closer it gets to the bottom. OPTIONAL Level two certification (if applicable): The vent details on the sides of the trapezoidagon wings have the edges of each vent fin painted a lighter gray to simulate edges. The black center section of the pack is painted to simulate textured metal with grays. In the black center section the horizontal rectangular greeblie has two small gray squares on the lower left side of the greeblie. On the each rocket tip: At the top there will be a total of 4 rings that will have a metal appearance. The white section in the middle will have a slight fade to black as it goes into the rings. The dark gray circular section at the bottom has equally spaced rectangular indentions that go all around it. You all agree?
  9. You may be able to get some additional ABS for that from Walt's Trooper Factory (WTF) or Trooperbay.
  10. Just keep in mind that based on what we make of the CRL and based on the reference images there could be some modifications that need to be done as we work on finalizing the text and what not with the reference image.
  11. Thanks for pulling that again. I think we can make a motion to make the pattern of paint as well as those two "square" sections on the left side of the greeblie as part of that too for L2.
  12. I do understand the need to pull from the texture file if we cannot obtain the actual in-game angles. I'll buy the game on Steam this week and see if I can pull as many angles as I can. With that being said, I second what @Blackwatch said about in-game. We visually want to represent what we'd see "on screen" to the best of our ability.
  13. That is interesting on the ABS paste. I haven't seen that before but then again I haven't spread a ton of it over a large surface area.
  14. Updated the thigh armor section under L2 to correct color of rivet/fastener to red from black: The thigh ammo belt must be attached to the thigh armor with a solid head rivet or fastener, painted red in the upper corner and fastened to the lower thigh ridge.
  15. Totally agree, I'll address each of the points you have #1 through #4 (4th being the "I think in general it might be helpful..." part): #1 - That one we can definitely go back on because we don't want it to be confusing at all, this is the section I'm referencing: #2 - To me that appears to be a lighter-gray color. It looks like to have recessed slots on it: #3 - The recessed gray rectangular portions above the rockets are these parts: #4 - For a reference diagram you think we can make that a gallery image? That'd be really cool!!
  16. Have a great list going and it's great seeing the stuff start to come in!
  17. Good catch!! I'll update the text moving to finalization! This pack was hard as hell to describe.
  18. The helmet looks great!! Not looking forward to the snow!
  19. Sorry for the color issue, @Raider, I can do better! I'm going to underline the changed stuff! As for trapezoidagon, I looked it up online and found a few posts stating that a trapezoid prism can also be called a trapezoidagon from a few sources.
  20. Here is the updated text taking some of what @Blue Hatter had in his write-up. We are going to achieve a mass color introduction at the start of the CRL I'm thinking and then can specify different colors within the text. Any changes are in light purple! We definitely need to hash out the colors as they appear in the in-game references only. 21. Looking good! To keep that back plate from chewing into your back you have two things you could do. You could heat it up (very carefully) or hot water bath (safer than a heat gun); to reshape it. Another option could be to heat it a little and possibly bring your back plate up a bit so that comes up higher on your shoulders.
