  1. What did you do exactly to eliminate the "toe"?
  2. Good stuff is always better that fast stuff.
  3. The cheek tube came out pretty clean. I always have a ton of cleanup on the tube. Nice work!
  4. Why couldn't you use the Sitharmor gloves for both? Same thing, right? I'm constantly swapping-out parts for my costumes. I just have to be extra careful at troops so as to ensure that everything is swapped-out and packed, not that I've ever trooped while missing a shin or a pair of gloves
  5. Well given that you are asking here at Spec Ops, our advice is going to be Shadow Scout 100% FTW.
  6. Nothing but love here Lou. Astromechs, kids in costumes, and TXs always steal the show so yeah, haters gonna hate
  7. Really exciting to see the armor starting to emerge from the roughing. Keep going!
  8. Shipping rates are tough as he's in the U.K., but you may want to hit-up Chef about the soft parts.
  9. You sure can paint the armor. You can do either a gloss black or more of a satin. Just ensure that your decals are contrasting black. Where are you located? I'm sure Chef will chime-in further.
  10. I'm the main reference model for the CRL, and I'm wearing a vest.
  11. That's exciting, and would be an honor.
  12. Can't go wrong with Chef. I have a bunch of stuff from Wampawear. I know things went South between Azman and Moncal, but Azman delivers in a timely manner. You're off to a great start!
  13. Nice work on the blaster. Offering those as well?
  14. There are several options including RomFX and Vortex, but the most common option is to use icomm+Aker setup. You can put the Aker amp behind your chestbox with the icomm before it to create the static bursts. http://store.voicebooster.com/icomm-imperial-communication-system/
  15. I'm immensely proud of you for this one Ty, and I want one. Anyway, if you need help with the CRL, please let me know and we'll figure it out and wrap it in a pretty package. That way, once the elections are settled, we can do everything possible to get this one approved as yet another 1st in the Legion costume for you.
  16. You can't possibly love it more than I do Ty. Wow.
  17. If you plan on going for Specialist, and your helmet detailing is a strong step in the right direction, go with a canvas belt.
  18. I'm excited too Ty. This is going to be amazing.
  19. Karin's handguards are amazing. If I had a magma, I'd be all over this.
  20. Good to know about the sizing. I look forward to hearing how you like them.
  21. Nice work on the helmet, especially the hand-painting! That makes my my painting look dreadful. As for your question, I can't speak for your GML, but after receiving Legion approval, I wouldn't hold-up Specialist over the blaster, especially since the GG statue features ROTJ. Maybe this is something we should investigate for the CRL once elections are over. In any case, welcome. It's always nice to see another one of those beautiful ATA magmas.
  22. I don't have anything inside my scout bucket except for some padding. Overall I find it a spacious and comfortable helmet to wear, similar to Vader in that regard but with far better vision.
  23. Astounding to finally see this thing Ty! I agree with everything you said about fit, and the forearms certainly sound problematic. I was thinking you made clear forearms before? Id love to see what you can do with that. How does the illumination in the eyes affect your vision vs a standard TK bucket? And do the lights/power create any noticeable heat?
