  1. so much fun. I hope he enjoys wearing it.
  2. How fun! Can't go wrong following one Terry's tutorials. Keep the pic coming.
  3. Try dry-brushing some flat black over your metallic parts. That will mute them and mix better with the rest of the blaster.
  4. That's a strong-looking TX. Nice work.
  5. Likewise. I want to see this costume approved as well, so if I can do anything I certainly will.
  6. Yay! I have more Nova than Ty
  7. I'm pretty sure that Ty had a complete collection first.
  8. Thanks Ty. Like you, I now have a complete Nova collection.
  9. That's awesome. Make me a helmet like that
  10. I need a new signature, huh?
  11. Every year I troop the Susan Komen Race for the Cure. Last year a bunch of my garrison-mates were slapping pink tape on their costumes in support of the cause. It occurred to me that the Nova Medic would be nearly perfect for such an event. Ok it's not pink, it's Kirsch Red; however, everyone sees it as pink, right? Anyway, here's my latest Spec Ops costume:
  12. Finally Torri, you have your numbers and are officially one of us. Giant congratulations!
  13. If you work with your GML, he can ask Damian for that number. If it's available, it shouldn't be an issue if it's caught right away. I just had to do that with a new member in my garrison yesterday as she also mis-typed in her application.
  14. I have to say Torri, it is not easy to take an oversized kit like the AM and make it fit someone of your smaller stature; however, you have done a really commendable job doing just that.
  15. Easy pass I'm sure. Congratulations!
  16. Thanks guys! That's a CAP chest Scootch.
  17. Wait. That's not an action figure?
  18. Nice fitting! The satin/flat black looks awesome. Should be an easy pass.
  19. I've had the armor gloss black, but then I changed it to matte black after looking at Kivas' guard. Then I sprayed it with a matte clear coat, and that turned it into more of a satin/semi-gloss look. I just wasn't happy with that as it seemed too non-committal, so I re-sprayed it one last time back to matte.
  20. Chef, I had smooth bells previously, but the guys running Sovereign Protectors have determined that the bells have a ridge. In fact, according to them no future Shadow Guards will be approved without the ridge. It would help of course if they ever updated the CRL as they have been promising for quite some time. Crazas, my pike is just an Ultrasaber. I have not been successful in sourcing an accurate pike yet. There are two fellows on Shapeways that offer 3D printed parts to make your own, but it is super costly and has yet to be done in the real world. There is also a fellow in Germany I believe who machines one without electronics for like $500 or so shipped, but that is more than I want to spend as the base for my pike.
