Hey look at that!!! Seems I cannot stop building. So about 8 months ago I was put on the wait list for ATA's magma. I think its getting close to that time! Anywho, I am not the "ideal" size for an ATA kit. I hardly fit my MC one. So I think it will need some trimming. When I first ordered, my plan was to only build the helmet and stash the armor away, but after some chats with people, I decided I might as well add this to my completed collection! Hope to get this going soon!

Yep I was able to get both a green and black hat. I was going to start producing them but now that Anovos has really nice ones at a good price, I am letting that one go. Magmascout!!!!! Oh and Ashtrooper!!!!!! As for this, I am going to be away from my shop, but not a computer, May 2nd - May 9th so I wont be able to finish it until the following week. This is something I always wanted to do and I am glad that it will be done soon and join the green side!!!

I think its time that I resurrect this project and get it done. I mean the only things I need to do for it is some elastic for the shoulders, glue the tank topper on, and boom done!! Look for updates soon

I am really looking forward to seeing the color against an ATA magma. I have a magma on order, but only planned to build the helmet and leave the rest for a rainy day, but if the color is good, I might think about going all out!

I was in contact with ATA about 8 months ago, and he said that there is some red left.

We were hoping for #001 or 002 but I guess 3 is good! Got the first pair of boots in today. Hopefully they will workout good. If not we can always use them for other things!

The process is started and I am hoping to be part of it. I see no reason what so ever that the legion won't accept legacy troopers. In the end, I am sure there will be a single CRL for legacy troopers with both male and female options on the parts that would be different. Then in the optional section at the bottom, there would be more specifics for individual troopers including Jes, where she would have red hair, blue eyes, etc. At least thats how I see it. The only thing I am really wondering is if there would be a chance at approval without a helmet. Jes is a specific face character and (without having the comic in front of me) is seen more often without a helmet.

I wasnt sure what will be acceptable so I figured I would go both ways. Now starts the search for a temporary helmet. I want to troop in my white armor with her in this, but we only have 1 white helmet at this time.

Seems like the Jes Gistang Legacy Fem trooper is the hot topic I guess Ill start a build thread as well for Val, BH-10227's build It arrived last Friday. I have been teaching her about trimming ABS armor and she started working on it on Sunday. Only pics I have right now We should have some more work done tonight and ill take some better pictures. As for the rest of the parts for the costume. We have ordered boots that we feel should work. We also found a wig that is close to the statue's hair down mode. We already have a few neck seals, so she is good there. Same with pants and gloves. I also took this as the perfect opportunity to order a DLT19 Things we still need. I am having a hard time finding a affordable long sleeve compression top. I also want to buy one of the statues to have as reference, and once this is built, I can put it in my office at work And We need a helmet once a Legacy sculpt is finished. until then, she can use my MC TK helmet.

I designed a clip and mounting system for my visors, so I can change them between chrome, green, and red. As for the paint, I just used standard spray paint.

I guess that sounded like I am out of work. What I mean is I have a few weeks before I start the new job. Oops

Since I am off between jobs, I thought it would be a good time to get all of the projects that are sitting around finished. Here is some pictures of Weir's helmet with the new lens. I should have him 99% done this week. I am on a wait list with woodchuck for the bandoleers and from the sounds of it, it might not happen until the end of July. Thats no bother to me, gots other things to go! And here it is next to the rest of them It stands out quite nice with the red visor. I have also finished my ANH E-11 and its a option for Weir but I would rather have him with a DLT-19. Outside of Sci-Fire, is there any other makers for DLT-19s?

I am leaning away from the snow scout now and might go something else. I am going to do a simple officer like scanning crew. I need something that I can get into and move around easy to help look after the rest of the troopers. My fiancee's costume requires a lot of upkeep and I want to be able to look after her easy until her next one is finished. As it sits, I am only a hat away from either a scanning crew or a reserve TIE. After that however, I might go....... TDK!!!! Has anyone ever found or thought about a Magma Scout? Even if its not a 501st costume, I might do it!

Im torn on what one to do next. Weir is next but I dont really consider him "next" as I have everything for it except the bandoleers... Wont be until June/July until Woodchuck can get to them. Im leaning to a snow scout BUT depending on what happens with my new job as well as some projects im working on(cough 3PO) I may just go standard white.

Only 1 other approved..... pressure increasing!!! I have a thing for scouts and I feel that I need to build all the variants, except maybe the Kashyyyk trooper.... and thats why I sent that inquiry into the sea trooper. I do have some plans for this one! We have a Magma trooper in my squad and I think having a green and red trooper would make for a great Christmas card As for the drop boxes, Ill take them. I might not sure them for this as I just got a hold of some MC ones but I think I have a idea.
