Jef, I'd say that looks pretty good to me! I'm going to pin this thread and I'm grateful for your contribution to the Spec Ops community!

Blue Bantha's 3D Printed MCM Death Trooper
IcyTrooper replied to bluebantha's topic in Imperial Death Trooper
Glad you are back again! It was a damn shame that your shadow stormtrooper was never approved. I personally didn't find anything wrong with it, but alas I'm just a DL (the GML in me was pissed about that). -
Purge Trooper Phase 1: Commander - CRL Discussion
IcyTrooper replied to nanotek's topic in Purge Trooper Phase I: Commander
It was started when we first got the CRLs from the Clone Trooper Detachment, so we'd have to start a new thread and archive this one to bring the Electrostaff Specialist one over. That is something we can move this week. I'll have to get resources in on it since we have a few other CRLs that are being worked on at this time. The holidays are probably going to slow it down a little as well. -
Purge Trooper Phase 1: Commander - CRL Discussion
IcyTrooper replied to nanotek's topic in Purge Trooper Phase I: Commander
It's all good, this is a unique situation. The CRL in its current form is currently approvable with hard parts/soft parts as they exist in the current CRL. That is what your GML will reference with the current pictures and text. It would be the discretion of your GML if they were to use the current CRL and allow any slight modifications that would cater to the Electrostaff Specialist to get it more in line with the video game images; otherwise, you'd need to build it to the current CRL and not the proposed one. I don't have a timeline for updating this CRL since we'd need a model to update it. I'm not a fan of updating the text but not the model images, therefore we'd need to do both the text and pictures at the same time. We are happy to accept anyone as a model, but there is a lot of work that goes into that with pictures being taken and making sure the armor matches the text and reference images (e.g., could require further modifications, etc.). -
Purge Trooper Phase 1: Commander - CRL Discussion
IcyTrooper replied to nanotek's topic in Purge Trooper Phase I: Commander
The Electrostaff and Commander in game models has the same armor minus the obvious differences, so that'd be a good path. Just keep in mind that the GMLs are going to be referencing the current CRL, although that shouldn't probably be a big deal when it comes to this one. If you're interested in being the model for it, that could also work and would be the basis for updating the CRL images and text so they flow together. -
Purge Trooper Phase 1: Commander - CRL Discussion
IcyTrooper replied to nanotek's topic in Purge Trooper Phase I: Commander
Right now the current CRL is staying as is until we have a model to update it with new pictures. It will more closely align to the Purge Trooper Phase I: Electrostaff Specialist as that in-game model is the same. When we have a model for it we will revisit the text. -
I reviewed the Lower Back Armor, nice! Lower Back Armor Gloss black in color unless noted below. May be painted in accordance with the Color Scheme Guide. If used, all armor pieces must be painted using the Color Scheme Guide. Fitted centered and under the back plate and extends to below the top of the belt. This is to hide the body of the wearer as much as possible. Lower back armor may be slightly weathered but must be uniform with the rest of the costume. The Lower Back Armor and Abdomen Armor side extensions, if any, may meet flush at the sides. Has a general “T” shape design with the top being flat across. Each top corner section is extended outward with the bottom edge angling and widening downward to the center section. There are two proportional horizontal recesses that may be present. The center section has a recessed area which has two raised circular ring type hose connectors positioned offset with the larger one located in the upper right corner and the smaller one located in the lower left corner. Connectors may be painted metallic black or silver. Two pistons may be present. If present, the ends must have the appearance of being attached to the lower back and extended to be hidden by the belt. Pistons shafts must be painted metallic black or silver.

Darth Vader's Personal (Magma) Troopers
IcyTrooper replied to RAIDER's topic in TX Research & Development Bay
Oh wow! What comics are they in? I can't believe I've never seen that before. I have a hose setup on my Battlefront Magma Trooper (Sullust trooper) and a backpack. This looks like two red hoses into each mic tip into a variation of a scuba double tank-like setup. -
Imperial Flametrooper (Jedi Fallen Order)
IcyTrooper replied to stevechewbacca's topic in Imperial Flametrooper (JFO)
Glad to see you again, @stevechewbacca! I think the gloves are looking pretty good, the cuff may be a little on the long side, but I'd like to see it with the armor fully on before that determination. -
Ooops, I thought I responded to this. 🤦♂️ I think we may have to look at the text on that since it is confusing/misleading with the rivet talked about in the TD box part of the belt text. Should be a single rivet on each end painted black.
-
That looks to be in the right place to me.
-
I'll also tag @Allan1313 in on this as he may know as well.
-
Updates have been made to the CRL with the above text. Please allow a brief period for the servers to propagate this information.
-
Lookin' good!
-
Yep the single mount does look clean! As for the rivets, are you talking about the plastic part of the belt being riveted to the canvas of the belt?
-
Very well! No worries on traveling, I know that drill. We'll be here when you get a chance to re-model and print! I'll get some text up for this soon.
-
We hit the 6-month mark yesterday and the CRLs have been requested to be unlocked to add the following to the helmet text: -Helmets considered disproportionate in size or shape are ineligible. This includes, but is not limited to, the Walt's Trooper Factory V1 Scout helmet.

PiotrRasputin's Death Trooper WIP
IcyTrooper replied to PiotrRasputin's topic in Imperial Death Trooper
Getting closer! -
I'm in agreement with what @RAIDER said, especially for the first two bullets. On the thrusters, I can see how the curved was derived, based on some of the panels where there is movement. Much of the other panels have them appearing like a track light shape, rather than curved. However, based on the pack I'd be okay with a slight curve on the thrusters for L1 and save the straight ones for L2 (Specialist) details. The only other thing that I see is that there appears to be a raised seam that goes down the middle bottom of jump pack. Is that where the two sides were put together?

Got ya! We can see if we can get some of the list updated @Blackwatch (and all). As for the Facebook vendors, you hit the nail on the head, starts with a message to get more info most of the time. Usually you won't see prices for vendors on their main pages.

Yessssssss!
