  1. @Chaos thanks for the tag in on it! I'm a little hesitant on using this thread to work on the 3D modeling of the costume. I'd like to keep this thread for pulling the reference images out and then drafting the text. I'll go ahead and create a 3D modeling development thread for the past few questions. @Andreas Funk
  2. As @Gree23 mentioned, all black. We also have some alternate angle images in the CRL gallery as well: https://databank.501st.com/databank/CRL_Gallery:Shadow_Scout
  3. This has been completed.
  4. Yeah this is an interesting one for me, it is such a small detail for a differentiation between the two. I almost want to allow current E-10.5 for both the IAT:A and IST and perhaps we can modify the base CRL to state that it may have the rail and flashlight, or something along those lines? Another route could be using the IAT:A CRL E-10.5 base text and then modifying the L2 requirements to specifically show that it is different from the IAT:A CRL E-10.5? I know that FISD has a different E-11 CRL for ANH, ROTJ, ESB for example; but I feel like that may be unnecessary for such a small detail change.
  5. Posting it here for detachment visibility but I had a chat with the JRS DL and him and his team are in support of the Spec Ops detachment requesting the Imperial Special Forces costume for detachment placement when it comes to the LMOs. We'll do an official request in the near future.
  6. Just an update to this that we are almost done wrapping up the text and will get the CRL wiki created. We will need to get a CRL model for the picture aspect of it and start getting that in order.
  7. I say they look good, may want to blend the mud in a few spots on the right boot so that it looks like it was naturally occurring rather than painted on, but a lot better!
  8. Just an update that we are still working on this. We'll have some feedback soon.
  9. I agree with both of you. That is very similar to how we have developed the Purge trooper CRLs and updates, by utilizing the clone stuff and modifying it as it fits.
  10. I agree, that is the consideration. We are going to take a look at that this weekend with some of the DCA training we have going on.
  11. I know that in some places, as long as it isn't visible, some makers make some of the suits mesh in certain spots to help with the heat. As long as it isn't visible with the costume on then that would be fine. For example, my Rogue One Tank Driver has a mesh top where the arms and visible spots resemble the CRL and the non-visible spots are mesh (e.g., stuff hidden within the ab/side/kidney armor, etc.)
  12. We are currently going through the images and setting up the CRL wiki template. The LMOs are aware that the new CRL wiki is in progress. Once we get the text and images within the CRL we will notify the LMOs and they will do final reviews of that wiki prior to final publication and public facing.

  14. Yeah if the blasters used match the ones that were already seen on screen we can definitely use CRLs text and images that were already created.
  15. The CRL has been updated with both next text and new pictures. It may take a bit for the servers to refresh the cache and propagate across the internet. Well done @TK 21814!!!
  16. @TK 21814 are you able to upload a picture of the abdomen armor into the Google Drive? The CRL wiki is getting updated and I realized that we actually don't have that one. We have everything else though.
  17. Dohh, I totally missed that when posting late. We should make that a separate entry I'd say: Boot Armor Painted gloss black. The top of the armor is rounded over the boot coming to a point at the midpoint side of the boot. From this side point there are a total of five flat edges as per the reference image, two on each side, coming to a flat front over the middle of the boot. In the flat front middle section of the armor there may be two shallow depressed rectangular details that are barely visible. If present, the top rectangular detail is smaller in surface area than the bottom rectangular detail. OPTIONAL Level two certification (if applicable): In the flat front middle section of the armor there are two shallow depressed rectangular details that are barely visible. The top rectangular detail is smaller in surface area than the bottom rectangular detail. Boots The boots are above-ankle height, and made of black leather or leather-like material. There is a seam down both sides of the front that swoops out to the side of the foot. There is a vertical zipper on the inside that spans the height of the boot. There is a flat black sole with no heel, buckles, or laces. Boot armor is affixed to the top of the boots. There shall be no visible method of attachment.
  18. Man, you are rolling through them! We can definitely have a chat in the near future.
  19. Yes, I added the Lower Leg Armor to the first page with the following: Lower Leg Armor Armor is painted gloss black. Lower legs are mirror images of each other. The front of the armor has a flat triangular detail at the top of the leg and a hard ridge line down the front of the shin. Back of the lower legs have an arched indentation just under the calf that travels down to the ankle. The outside of the calf is closed but may feature a faint seam. The armor may feature faint seams on the interior face. Seam is completely vertical, with little to no gap. We are onto the boots now and then the weapons. Here is the Boots text: Boots The boots are above-ankle height, and made of black leather or leather-like material. There is a seam down both sides of the front that swoops out to the side of the foot. There is a vertical zipper on the inside that spans the height of the boot. There is a flat black sole with no heel, buckles, or laces.
  20. Congrats on that approval!!
