  1. Hey there! Welcome. At this point, the only vendor I am aware of that possibly makes this kit is SkyGunBro (on Facebook), BUT I cannot speak to the quality of the kit compared to the actual references as a build has not been presented here yet for us to review. @MrShadow is developing his own 3D models/files.
  2. Hey @Darth Betus just checking in to see how you are progressing.
  3. That looks very sharp @Hoda And I see you cleaned up a bit lol.
  4. No stress. It happens. Good to see some progress. When you think ur ready we can start draft work on the CRL itself to coincide with the character you are working on.
  5. Sent per your request. Welcome!!!
  6. So making sure i understand... On the proposal we have the belt as “no grommets” at Level 2. If it can be either/or Im suggesting just remove that requirement altogether. Goggles...sounds like black only then for even basic yes?
  7. Good morning! Pinging here @Blackwatch couple quick notes: 1) Belt. If some of the panels do have the grommets then maybe we should just remove that L2 requirement. 2) Goggles. Do we want to add a strap coloring requirement at either level as we have seen some gray and some black? 3) Pouches. We can add the same line here regarding zippers and pulls.
  8. Making note here for those following, model has submitted photos for the update and they are in review. Update and final decision on rename (which will be discussed with LMOs) should not be far off.
  9. Note...update model photos have been submitted and under review. Publishing of the update is close. Heads up to any builders out there.
  10. excellent. thank u. we will update this and add similar verbiage alongside the army trooper as well
  11. I think the greeblie look is ok. I'm not sold on the color. In my opinion it should be adjusted BUT other takes are welcome. One extra note (as Level 2 maybe), the "bolts" in bottom areas of those recessed valleys around the trapezoids...I def see those in the reference. I do not see the one above the greeblie however. Check me on that.
  12. Ok…this line is hanging me up (just took me alot of reads to figure out what we were referring to…I imagine a GML reviewing this would probably end up the same): The black center section of the jump pack is flat at the top, slants at an angle towards the middle of the jump pack before flattening out. After the flattened section it slants towards the posterior armor to the bottom of the jump pack. The following details are present: Then this line mentions the greeblie. 2 questions…the center greeblie has a color specified? I cannot make it out in the reference images…and I see @Blue Hatter seems to have given his a color. What is seen in the references? And…does the greeblie have texture details? Again, I cannot make it out in the references but it appears the kit @Blue Hatter has does have something there. The angled slant from the top has a rectangle in the center with recessed black areas on all sides of the rectangle. As it levels out there is another horizontal rectangular greeblie detail until the next slanted area. And this line…I'm not certain what it's referencing. Just before the rockets on each there is a recessed rectangular section that is gray on each side of the black center section. I think in general it might be helpful to provide a diagram breakdown of some sort to help w/ the pack…for the gallery…as there are other parts as well that are wordy, BUT I'm not sure how you could describe it otherwise.
  13. These 3 seem to be some of the better images we get of the pack colors. Posting here so I have something to look at as I review.
  14. Helmet looks well painted indeed! Check ur elevator bolts...those should be blue-gray, different from the snout. may be lighting but rear traps are black yes?
  15. Thanks @IcyTrooper I will take some time tomorrow to examine the colors to the references (tho colors are not my strong suit) along with the other details. Trapezoidagon is a word though? If so I just learned something new lol
  16. Yup that will work just fine! Welcome!
  17. Great WIP man! With your permission, I'd like to adjust the title just a bit and pin this to the top of our Army Trooper forum area. Let me know if that is ok. Thanks again!!!
  18. As with all CRL updates, previously approved troopers maintain membership and are not required to update their costume.
  19. Not sure what you mean specifically by “spec sheet” but you should be following the CRL requirements if your goal is 501st approval. https://databank.501st.com/databank/Costuming:TX_shadow_stormtrooper For the belt...when I built my TK i replaced the Anovos canvas with a belt by Rob Kittel.
  20. haha thx! yea i wanted to make a trip out there this season...but ya know 2020 n all...and man ticket prices for them are skyhigh.
  21. We cannot use your model as a reference point. As for what category the plates would fall under, I will let @IcyTrooper address that.
