Next I would like to tackle both the holster and the boots. If I find that both start to get technical, I will split the discussion. finalized text with all requested changes made. Please give it a look over and comment. Change Log 1.2 (FINAL TEXT) Thermal Detonator Attached to the back of the belt is a rectangular gloss black Thermal Detonator with a black corrugated hose. The ends of the hose is covered by gloss black end caps. The Thermal detonator fits between the two back belt pouches. There are two silver detail greeblies on the central box. These details consist of a dome-shaped greeblie on the left side of the box and rectangular greeblie with various designs on the right side of the box. For basic (Level 1) approval a gloss black Shadow Scout style Thermal Detonator with standard greeblies is acceptable, as long as the greeblies are painted silver. OPTIONAL Level two certification (if applicable): Made from the game's 3d model and scaled to the wearer. The detonator consists of a boxy central structure containing a ribbed hose, and end caps which are "closed" where the tube enters the end cap. The detonator box features a round dome-shaped greeblie approximately 5/8" (15.8mm) on the left side and a 3/4" x 1.5" (19mm x 32.7 mm ) rectangular greeblie featuring various designs as seen in the reference images. The standard shadow scout thermal detonator is not accurate and is not to be used for Level 2 approval.

when we wrote it, it all appeared black. I saw nowthing that looked metallic. I think it would be easy enough to add "black or dark, weathered metallic grey. Weathering and appearance must be consistent".

guys I've had my hands in other piles lately so I'm just really getting to this. Here are things I noted: Is this a modified real world glove? do we know the glove it was modified from? I know there's differences between US and Commonwealth English, my only concern is this line " Gloves are all black consisting " to my old American brain the word "of" would need to be added to the line to read "Gloves are all black consisting of:" I would like to replace all "(as shown) " in the descriptions with "(See gallery image)" since we will have all the photos in the costume gallery. Standardize all the measurments to IN(mm) in keeping with the other CRLs.

one final pass we will need to double check punctuation and make sure all measurements are updated to the IN(mm) format 1" to form a rectangular section -

complete Sithtrooper Belt - CRL Development Discussion

weve got a lot of measurements in Del but since it has to be specific to the wearer, we have a base measurement as well as L2 level "must be proportional to the wearer:. If some one is going to make a kit of this, then lthe belt should, -should I say- be the right size for the kit, but that's not always the case. Once we get the text the way we want it we need to clean up and standardize the measurements IN (mm). -
Ready to do the next section, the Thermal Detonator. The detonator is quite more detailed than this, so I would like to go over this as a single section. Thermal Detonator - The thermal detonator is attached to the center of the back of the belt. - Thermal detonator is gloss black in color - Silver button details are present on the central box. OPTIONAL Level two certification (if applicable): + Made from the game's 3d model and scaled to the wearer + Biker Scout TD is NOT accurate, the one used here is smaller. Change Log 1.1 (FINAL) Scout Style Pouches Two "scout" style pouches are made of black matte canvas or canvas-like material. The "scout" style pouches are filled to appear full and worn at the back of the belt. The pouches will leave sufficient room for the Thermal Detonator mounted between them. Pouches may be hung from the tactical vest waist strap, or from the over-belt strap, at the wearers choice. Pouches are a maximum of 6 inches tall, 5 inches wide and 2 inches (152 mm tall0 x 127mm wide and 50.8mm deep). The lower edge of the flap will not be wider than 2 1/2" (63.5mm). Pouches are proportional to the size of the wearer and match in-game references. OPTIONAL Level two certification (if applicable): Scout style pouches match in game references. Bottom edge of the pouch flap is less than half the overall width of the pouch. Pouch outer flap has a stitch set back 5/16" (8mm) from the edge.

Scout Style pouches I would like to split out the Scout style pouches as a separate piece because I believe leaving it as a single line item will add confusion. I believe it should have its own sub section. yeah we are doing a heavy rewrite on the Army trooper. The correct boots are still out there, the commuter IIs. IMO even 9" shaft motorcycle boots painted green will look that way for L1. Doing the same with the sapper/ Engineer.

Im glad you pulled those shots. I had that suspicion and you confirmed it. if it was ME building it I would put it on with a Chicago screw (blind screw) on the Officer belt with the overbelt hiding that. It still passes under the officer belt and terminates just like the source graphic. The game creators honestly made our jobs SO MUCH EASIER than we had it just a few years ago trying to figure out game bits, but "magic" doesn't help with mounting. I agree with both of you that the scout pouches are hung from the chest rig back strap. That said, if we go weaerers option, we need to define an L2, and further define for specialist. I would like to write it that for L2 it is hung from the leather tac vest strap. which will also go for Specialist applicants.

I remember a bit of discussion we had doing the CRL work, the helmet is most commonly seen but a few troopers do wear the hat. Were changing parts of the CRL regarding updating the boots and the addition of the TK belt. We can add this to the CRL change topic discussion which is still open.

Over in the Del Meeko thread we are using the term "invisible fastener" and recommending heavy duty magnets. Not the light duty Walmart craft stuff. I order 1.25" ring magnets for connecting tie pilot hoses to chestboxes and I use them for holding other things to my various uniforms. Its an option.
